Israeli Airstrike Kills 11 in Khan Younis Home

Gaza: An Israeli airstrike in Khan Younis has led to the horrific deaths of 11 Palestinians who burned alive after their home caught fire, as part of a wider wave of bombings that has killed at least 25 people across Gaza.

The attack took place on April 22, 2025, and is one of the deadliest incidents in recent days. According to reports…the house erupted in flames after being hit, leaving residents with no time to escape. Eyewitnesses described scenes of chaos, with neighbors desperately trying to rescue those trapped inside.

The bombing also hit several tent camps, killing more civilians and worsening the humanitarian crisis. Emergency services continue to search through the rubble, with fears that the death toll could rise further. Gaza’s Ministry of Health now estimates more than 51,000 Palestinians have been killed since the war began in October 2023, following the Hamas attack on Israel.

In a parallel escalation, U.S. forces launched fresh attacks in Yemen, responding to claims by the Houthi rebels of targeting Israel and U.S. naval forces in the Red Sea. These developments highlight how the conflict is expanding beyond Gaza, pulling in regional powers and worsening tensions across the Middle East.

Israel’s campaign has drawn sharp international criticism, especially as civilian casualties increase and displaced families struggle to survive. Despite growing global pressure for a ceasefire and humanitarian relief, the strikes continue, leaving Gaza’s population in fear and mourning.
